The Forest

The Forest is a co-shared workplace located in South Lake Tahoe, California, providing a comfortable and well-equipped space for entrepreneurs, start-ups, freelancers, and business travelers. The space is designed to reflect the symbiotic work relationships found in nature, with various areas decorated to represent different aspects of the forest.

The Forest offers different types of work spaces, including The Retreat, a comfortable area with coffee table desk arrangements, The Den, a spacious private office with two desks, and The Meadow, an open table desk working area that can accommodate up to 12 people for meetings. Other spaces include The Nest, a semi-private office, and The Cocoon, a single occupancy private space for private phone calls or Skype/Zoom meetings.

The workspace provides various amenities, including complimentary coffee, tea, water, and snacks, as well as access to printing, copying, and faxing services. The space also features fast internet service, with upload speeds of up to 200 Mbps and download speeds of 10 Mbps. WiFi is included in the reservation fees for certain spaces, while others have dedicated IP addresses.

The Forest is conveniently located near a bus stop and encourages clients to walk, ride a bicycle or scooter, or use ride-sharing services to reduce their environmental impact. Parking is available, with limited reserved spots and additional street parking in the area. The space is also close to various eateries and restaurants, including Panda Express, Five Guys Burger, and Riva Grill.

Reservations for the work spaces must be made in advance, with fees paid prior to use. The Forest also offers package deals and has a code of conduct, rules, and regulations in place to ensure a pleasant and productive work environment for all clients.
